On Saturday May 22 Debbie was the guest speaker at the Heartland Spa in Gilman, Illinois. The Heartland Spa is a private health and fitness retreat nestled on a 32 acre estate on a secluded lake and surrounded by a peaceful forest and miles of tranquil Illinois farmland. From spa services to fitness activities to discussions by exercise, nutrition and health experts to the Heartland's healthycuisine, the experience at the Heartland Spa inspires healthy lifestyle choices that focus on stress management, nutrition and exercise. Life is a Balancing Act was the perfect ending to Saturday's activities.   Neither equipment malfunctions nor the sudden onset of laryngitis could stop the presentation. After her own personal day of spa services, several trips to the steam room and many cups of hot soothing tea, a voice masking as Debbie's led the guests through the components of the balance wheel. Each guest left the comfort of the Wood Room with their own personalized balance wheel and balance action plan. Everyone really enjoyed hearing Debbie's personal balance stories and commented on her contagious passion and enthusiasm.
